These terms cover use of Merova, the software at this domain, by a writer who uses it to sell paid subscriptions to their own publication. They do not cover a reader buying a subscription: that relationship is between the reader and the publisher, and its terms are on the publisher’s own subscribe page.

Merova connects a publisher’s own payment account to their own publication. When a reader’s payment succeeds, it grants that reader paid access on the publication and keeps that access in step with the subscription.
Merova never holds, routes or settles funds. Payments are collected by the publisher through their own payment account and settle to their own bank account. Merova is not a payment aggregator, payment gateway, or intermediary for funds, and at no point does money pass through an account it controls.
The publisher is the merchant of record for every subscription sold through their page. They are responsible for what they sell, for their own pricing, for supporting and refunding their own readers, for their own tax obligations, and for the accuracy of the business details shown on their pages.
Using Merova requires connecting a payment account and a publication session. Those credentials are used only to carry out the actions the publisher asks for, and a publisher can revoke either at any time from the relevant provider, which stops the service working immediately.
Merova may not be used to sell anything the publisher is not entitled to sell, to collect payments on behalf of a third party, or in breach of the terms of the payment provider or the publishing platform involved.
The service depends on third parties, including the payment provider and the publishing platform. It is provided as is, with no guarantee of uninterrupted availability.
Liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the fees paid for it in the twelve months before the claim, and where no fees were paid, to zero.
A publisher may stop using Merova at any time by disconnecting their accounts. Doing so stops future access grants; it does not cancel their readers’ existing payment mandates, which the publisher remains responsible for.
These terms are governed by the laws of India.
These terms may be updated, and material changes will be notified to publishers by email before they take effect.
